Brilliant writing with a language component that some might find boring because their truly unable to comprehend the meanining. Watching it twice and focusing on the actors expressions further brought this into the cult classic realm.

MIchael Cera doing his thing and not badly as split personality himself vs. His evil French self. Kind of pointless but some good parts esp. If you are a fan of French culture of the sixties.

I am giving this one a decent score because they did as good a job as possible with adapting it to a movie (the book is about 500 pages) That being said, it still felt a bit choppy and could have had some more laughs. Cera does the heavy lifting here and as always, does a good job. I know it's trendy to hate on him these days, but he can handle himself on screen very well and really left me wanting to see a lot more Francois. Now that he's in his 20s, I look forward to seeing him stretch his wings a bit more (Go Scott Pilgrim!) Also, there was a great supporting cast that we just didnt see enough of. All in all - not a great film, but better than I thought I would be. It should do alright considering the limited realease it's had.

This isn't a middle of the road type of movie. You either love it or hate it. It depends on your personality and sense of humour. I loved it. It was witty and funny and unique and sardonic and you have to be that type of person to get it.

There were no dragons which was a minus cuz I like dragons. There were a lot of nice shoes in this movie which I didnt like cuz I hate shoes. The directing was like burning hair; smelly and arousing. Overall this movie was worse than a sac of dead puppies.

If you can imagine Fight Club and a coming of age movie together, then Teen in Revolt would be it. I think Michael Cera has this 'smarter than he should, teen in angst, insecure teenager' type character down packed. Actually, all the teens are smarter than they should be. And it made the movie all the more surreal and funny for me.

You can see Cera's emerging talent in this movie's meta-scripted double character. A very provoking, intellectual story. I would recommend it for older teens than 14, though, because it is a comment, not encouragement, of the social situations portrayed.

I didn't like it that much... I found it kind of boring and pointless. I saw it with 2 guys and they didn't care much for it either. I felt like I wanted to sleep half way through...

I always think Micheal Cera is funny in all his movies and even in this one he was pretty jokes. It was just everything else in movie because the movie itself was boring and horribly acted.

Very boring, go see avatar, if you already saw avatar you're better off seeing it again before seeing this movie. My girlfriend wanted to see this movie and she didnt really like it either. Wouldnt recommend it to anyone.

I am a fan of Michael Cera and did enjoy this movie, but only really laughed out loud a couple of times. I should have saved it for a matinee, not Saturday night out!

The plot summary does this movie no justice. It is a perfect amalgam of youthful angst and surreal imagination. The dialogue was incredibly witty and well-written. The characters are one dimensional but it works for the story. It even makes it better because the focus is on the main character. Michael Cera does an amazing job portraying Nick Twisp. He's been a bit typecast (considering his previous roles) as the teenage virgin, and this movie still has that typecast in his character, but his alter ego is a whole new facet of Cera's acting skills. It's a short movie but very entertaining. It actualls feels like longer than it actually is. Do go see it. Totally worth it!

I was skeptical from the previews, but pleasantly surprised. The movie had great style, some very funny moments, and an excellent cast. Micheal Cera plays a similar character as he usually does, but he hasn't lost his charm. And his other character is great too. Portia Doubleday is also extremely loveable and adorable. If you like Micheal Cera's other movies go see it.

If you liked Superbad or Adventureland, then you might sort of like this one. I personally thought it was very boring as the story doesn't get more interesting than what you saw in the trailer. Sorry guys, but not worth the time or money.

Pretty good. If you're a Michael Cera fan, you shouldn't be dissapointed. There are a few laughs, and it's generally clever, but overall it's all about Michael Cera. Steve Buscemi is underused. As is Justin Long.
