This is one series of movies that has not gone bad over its various installments. The storyline is funny. It was really innovative how all the characters in the fairy tails were fused into the storyline of Shrek 3. The movie continues to be funny and the showdown between Donkey and Puss in Boots has worked really well since the second part.

This was a very boring movie and a huge downfall to the shreks, the first two were much better.

Funny but not the best movie in the universe! It is the best Dreamworks movie though! Take a look at a few reviews B4 deciding.

Great movie! Just as good as Shrek 1 and Shrek 2. Great family film!

This one was funny. Tho Shrek 1 was still the best. Shrek 2 was bad, but Shrek the 3rd is one to see. Lots of silly funnies in it. I recommend renting it. :)

DVD: "Shrek The Third (Full Screen)"
I was so excited to see this movie I took my 3 kids to see it at the movies. I was disapointed in the story of this movie. I thought we would learn more about Shrek and his being an oger, maybe how he turned in to an oger. My kids did like the movie though. I felt it was made with the thought of what they could sell after the movie came out and not keeping in mind the 1st two movies. I didn't understand what Arthur and Merlin were doing in the story either.

Ummm, It's not what I expected because I thought it would be the funniest out of them all, but it was more serious. Well it is a pretty good movie for the family and you should see it.

I have seen Shrek the third, and I really didn't love it, compared with the two other this one was very boring. The music was slow not enough exited. There was also not to much of music, and there was the same kid of music of the other movies. I was very disappointed. Sometimes one of the sountrack was repeated. The music didn't make a mood at every scene. We don't really feel the emotion. Finaly Shrek the third was to more. Shrub.

Shrek the Third was very same that the other. Was just the story was different. The ambiance was very very lifelike that the other, the comedi time, the dramatical time, the heroic time,... The music of Shrek was authentic, because was just Shrek who mix several style of music like the classic to rock. The music was appropriate for the good moment like when Snow White sing the music change of classic to rock. For the final, the super karaokey. The karaokey was very funy, because it's not a story, was just many jokes singing with every personnages of the movie.

I saw Shrek 3, is awesome! I think is not the best of the 3 Shrek, but is a good movie for family. The tale is very captivate and amazing. The music is very good and adjusted to each scene. The sentiment is more present with the music. There are diverse songs, but we don't pay attention the entire movie. The music changed very often, is not the same music all the time, a movie with same music, is really boring.

It was really funny. The jokes seemed to be meant for adults, but kids still seemed to have a good laugh. Maybe a rental though.

It was okay... more of an adult animation than a family film.

I did not even want to finish the movie... Clear example of a studio trying to drain every last bit of cash they can out of a series. Same effects as the others... Please spend your money on something original and new, unless you have 5 years olds that love to watch the same movie 30 times in a row, then I recommend it.

Shrek is getting a bit old and it just isn't appropriate for children. I cringed more than once as I was watching it with my kids.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] I have to admit, the only reason I went to see this movie was because I like Shrek 1 and 2. But after watching it I'm rather disappointed in the story. But very funny. Worth seeing. The baby donkey-dragons are soo cute!

Same cute characters, and plot not bad. But why the cross dressers and homosexual content. Do our kids need that in cartoons now too? It wasn't a good children's movie nor a good adult movie. Several families took their small children out. Some humor ruined by sexual content. Not recommended for children.

I actually really liked it! I wasn't expecting too much, for it being the 3rd one, but I was pleasantly surprised! I thought it was the best one of all 3. There was some good humor in it. Ya for Shrek! :)

I loved Shrek 1! Shrek 2 was rather boring, and without much imagination or originality. Shrek 3 was painful! I began to watch it on the plane, and before it was even remotely half-way, I decided that I could bare no more. I felt very mournful, considering that Shrek was a 1 hit wonder, and the exuberance and the magic goes downhill each time. My rating says it all; 1-Worst ever, avoid at all costs.

It was funny, with some slightly adult jokes added. Some part seemed a little forced and badly put together, but the animation was great.
